Whatever has the rebate going or is on sale. Let's say there's no sale or rebates, my favorites are in no particular order-

1. Chevron Supreme
2. Havoline
3. QSGB

Do tell? $1 each!?!??!!!!

They were clearing it out. Not sure why, but the shelf had a little tag saying a dollar each. So I had the wife stand and guard the shelf while I ran to customer service with a jug to double check the price. Sure enough, $1 plus tax. Ran back and cleared the shelf lol

Smart decision !

QSGB for me 275K on my Daughters Hyundai and it still is healthy according to blackstone

Haven't used "conventional" oils for thirty eight years since switching to Mobil I in 1978. Change the oil and filter each spring and fall. Been doing it so long I can't stop. Entropy will stop that in the next few years though.

That engine in the picture clearly shows coolant intrusion.

Whatever 15W-40, 20W-50, or 30 that can be had cheapest. Considering that Napa runs their 15W-40 on sale for ten bucks a gallon several times a year, probably that. We are using Napa 15W-40 as our shop oil at the moment. I don't have much reason to buy regular PCMO's anymore.

The last Napa sale on 15w40 I caught it was $8.99/gallon. I bought several it seemed like a steal.

Formula Shell in all weights for my office fleet of cars and trucks. My cars and trucks get synthetic M1, ST, Napa, Valvoline, although I am thinking about switching all my personal cars and trucks to FS conventional since I really see little difference on cars lasting with either conventional oil or synthetic. Have also had the valve covers off a few cars running FS and all were real clean with many miles.

My number one choice is Quaker State conventional.Just bought some on sale today.Second and third would be PYB and MotoMaster Formula 1 conventional which is made by Shell
