Mazda 3 - 26.99 mpg over 70k miles.
Ford Focus - 26.98 mpg over 20k miles.
Heavy suburban and highway traffic and badly timed traffic lights sure affects the gas mileage.

your fit gets horrible city. You must drive very spirited. a prius or even an electric would suit you! What is a cub? You have some different vehicles. I like it!

The Fit does about ten 3 mile trips per day in warm weather. As I type it is making its third trip of the day.
It got 18-19 mpg when it was new, 21-22 mpg since the engine has been fully run in. On the highway it can get up into the upper thirties. It got over 40 mpg on one leg of a trip that included a short stretch with a heavy tailwind.
There is only one hybrid and zero electrics in my city. The hybrid is a Civic and I am almost certain the battery pack is no longer any good.

09 Honda Civic LX 5 speed. Primarily used as my work commute vehicle that is a 57 mile trip all highway. Cruise control @ 70MPH entire distance.

I've only been averaging about 30 MPG in my Civic during the winter, but once the weather warms up I average closer to 33-35.
The average for my Corvette over the last 814 miles is 25.4

Been driving this car for three years and have logged 101 fillups. Lifetime MPG is 39.9. Summertime is a breadbasket, usually average low 40s. Winter not as good, I'm hanging onto around 38mpg on most of my tanks.

We have some here that are just absolutely ridiculous. One that kills me on my way to work is one that stays red for exactly 7 minutes. So frustrating. The city won't fix it either.
The Focus has dropped to the high 20's in this very cold weather and the Tracker has gone down into the low 20's with the extra idling my wife gives it.
In the last week its warmed up though, and I'm working on a good tank in the Focus, should get back into the low 30's atleast.

I have an UltraGauge too. A bit difficult to learn to use, but pretty nice.
My 2013 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 5.3L, 14 mpg all miles. My 2015 2500HD 6.0L 13 all miles (all winter so far, will be interesting to see how the average comes up on summer weather and fuel). 2013 Freightliner Columbia 12,7L Series 60, 7.7 mpg avg over 378,000 miles.
In 2004 the new Focus got 32 mpg. Once ethanol kicked in it dropped to 29.5mpg which is 90% freeway. Can rarely get it past 30 mpg. However, the 1991 Mazda 626 will get 38 mpg on 100% freeway driving which it usually does. Mixed it gets 34 mpg. My wife's Sable is 22-23 mpg while the other cars don't matter at all.
This winter 28 mpg for the Accord (ultra gauge), and 24 mpg on the MDX.
I don't keep average MPG even though I calculate nearly every fill. I've been travelling in sunny Florida and getting terrific mileage in my 2001 Accord 4cyl MT with 270K miles on the odo. I assume Florida fuel is a year round formula, seems to be giving some of the best mileage this car has ever gotten.
The driving conditions are ideal to obtain high MPG for this car, warm but A/C not mandatory, slower speeds (45-60) without many stops. I've gotten 36-37 MPG on several fills, but the last fill will need to verify it was completely full on the next fill before I can believe it. It was 42 MPG.
Amazed with that number, it verifies great cylinder sealing for an engine with 270K miles. Impressed that this high miles engine got the best mileage since the car was bought new.

My mileage is a bit off this winter, lots of tanks in the 38mpg range...used to 39-40.
Summer is usually 42-43mpg range.
Highway is usually 43-46, best trip was 50.75mpg over 174mi from home to Ft. Worth, TX.
Lifetime avg over three years and 101 fills is 39.9mpg.
