You are dead wrong Wally, and you will kill one of these old 2-cycle engine lawnmowers DEAD if you try and run it under a load at a 50:1 ratio, it doesn't matter that the oil is a modern technologically advanced 2-cycle oil. Over the years I have personally seen MANY old Lawnboy, Tecumseh, Jacobson, and JLO 2-cycle engines that were destroyed by this kind of thinking. One might get by with running it at a SLIGHTLY higher ratio than originally specified, but that may not even be possible when trying to use E10 in one of these old 2-cycle mowers. The only lawnmower engines designed to run at 50:1 that I know of were the Suzukis, Robins, Echos, and Lawnboy M-series (which would actually run at up to 100:1 with oil injection).
