What synthetic gear oil brand and weight would you recommend me to use for my 2003 Toyota Tacoma 2wd v6?? Help me out. Thanks

Manual Transmission: 75w-90 GL-4
Differential: 75w-90 GL-5

Amsoil, Redline, Royal Purple, Mobil 1, ect, ect

Personally, i prefer Redline gear lubes

I'm using Valvoline DuraBlend 80W90 in the same model/engine rig, two years older. It's the spec viscosity, and has been working just fine.

Sure there are others that will work fine, some more expensive some less, but DB gotten the job done for a relatively reasonable price.

Think this is on the wrong board.

Amsoil without a doubt. I had a Jeep TJ that was tricked out for rock crawling and I used all Amsoil gear lubes. Same for the Tahoe I had that towed a trailer. Amsoil makes a solid gear oil.

I've got Mobil 1 75w-90 in the transfer case and differentials on my truck. It's done well and at the time I was able to use the AAP discount codes to get six quarts at a decent discount.
