Spot on Doc Haas has the God given ability, knowledge, time, interest and funds to test and trial various top tier oils and get feedback from Lab Analysis to optimise the oil selection under the various conditions of use.

Not all BITOGers have the same passion or are geared up the same way as the Doc to achieve the same outcome for their vehicles.

OEM recommendations and builder certifications are important to those that are in my position.

The detailed tailoring of oil selection and process as claimed, I challenge will yield similar benefits and results by following the guidelines of the OEM and at a lot less cost.

If this was so why don't OEMs offer a program to tailor the oil use to the given conditions of operation and use. The oil life monitoring systems maybe as close as it will get.
