I have used it twice now and it seems to do a good job on my Black '04 Trailblazer. Not many water spots after using it. However, it seemed that the second time it was less effective since I waxed it with Mother's California Gold.

I got one as a gift and was not impressed then I dropped it and it broke.

I just use it so I dont have to have a bucket of water to get dirty. I dont liek their soap as It feels like to strips the wax off of it. I use my own car soap for that. works just as good.

I bought it from Target. I tried it on out Grey, Ford Freestar. I returned it for my full money back after 2 tries. The problem with my van is, it's very prone to drips. The tracks for the doors will drip for a long time. These drips were very visible with Mr Clean. Mr Clean did an OK job in a quick pinch, but if you want it perfect, you'll still need to chamois, or wipe the drips. It's far better than the Rain-X copycat.

srips wax big-time! Soaps and filters are not cost effective and still leaves some spots. Just not recomended by detail buffs.

Use a large waffle weave microfiber drying towel instead to dry your car. Works so much better than a chamois or a old Holiday Inn towel

If you wax your car, this product will not work.

Otherwise, it will work great.

I have gone to using just plain water and a mit and the results are amazing and no soap residue or streaking.

I've got a Water Sprite synthetic chamois. It's light years ahead of the Absorber or any of the other "rubbery" feeling synthetic chamois. It seems like the more you use it, the better it works too. I just drag it across the paint, and it's totally dry. Like a big tongue licking it up.

I use the AutoDry strictly for the rinse. I use a bucket and Zaino for the wash, rinse it with tap water, then rinse it again with the AutoDry. Works as advertised.

Just bought the AutoDry today at Pepboys. Paid
18.98 with $10 rebate. I figure for 9 bucks i'll
give it a shot, since I haven't washed my Mazda6
in a while. It came with some extra crap in the box like a wash mitt, Febreeze spray fabric freshener and a swiffer duster.

Hmm Whats with the claims of stripping wax. I washed my Black truck with it about 2 times,And the last time it rained my truck was still beading water like no other ?

I tried for the 1st time the other day the AutoDry system on my car, and it did what i thought was a decent job on it. I had no water spots and it didn't seem to strip my wax off either. For 9 bucks it did what it claimed it would do.

Im not that impressed with it at all..i just washed my Black 04 Ram and it felt like it removed the wax and the Rain-x off of the windows. IMO the wash mit stayed dirty...i couldnt keep it clean,it felt like i was washing it with a dirty mit.

I will not use it again....ill stick with the old fashion way!!!

adam123,
How smooth/slick did the finish feel after Mr. Clean?
I hear over and over the soap strips wax. I suspect it will still bead for while, but each Mr. Clean wash shortens the life of the wax job. Kind of like using a weak dish washing detergent to wash your car. Just my opinion.

I bought one and I can't tell that it's stripping the wax from my truck.
It does a great job on my Yamaha V-Star bike. No spots if used as directed.

I used one for over a year. I felt it work as advertised. I also experimented with different brands of soap. The reason I quit using it was because it takes an hour or more to dry even when using their soap. During that time, the wet car attracts every piece of airborne polluntant that comes near it. After it is dry, it is dirty again. If you have a nice garage to pull the still wet car in, you should get good results.

I agree. That's why I pull my car into the garage after using it, so it dries clean. It just takes a long time to dry in there, because of the florida heat.

i made my own using a household water filter and a carbon block filter media. works pretty good. but i think i might two-stage the filter for even better fitlering.
