I just awoke and when I entered my living room I saw an envelope sticking half way under my front door. I don't know right off hand who gave it to me, but I have my suspicions.

When my son was 5-6 years old he asked me how will we know if the Easter bunny will come into the house. I told him we will put some flour at the front door and back door and get his paw prints. I drew a rabbit paw print about 4' big in the flour on the back porch. When my son woke up he ran right past his Easter basket to the back porch. So sorry to hear that. They should be a time of joy and happiness. I am so blessed to have my parents and both sets of grandparents still here, though my grandmother was recently diagnosed with cancer. I try to enjoy every moment, as we all should! I hope you can find some joy and peace this season.Man me too BlueOval!! Our holidays were EXACTLY like that!! Parents and grandparents have all passed. Cousins aunts and uncles all go their own ways. Holidays have gotten so depressing. Makes me miss all those who are no longer with us.I honestly can't stand the holidays. Dread their approach,and so relieved when they're over. All the holidays are to me now is just a day or two off form work.

Coolest gift I ever got was a BRAND NEW! Pentax PC313 camera from the Sears catalog. 35mm film! FULL KIT! I was so happy. I used to have that camera for a loooooong time too. Might still have it..
I used to be the first one I up on Christmas wait I still am lol . I couldn’t go the entire day without opening gifts.No no no! You HAD to wait! Because after all.. well my sister and her family is going to be over tonight so I’ll have more gifts to open then. They are finally up now I just have to get them motivated lol. I planned on opening gifts and having our French Toast which looks like it’s going to be lunch or dinner time before we eat since they can’t get up ever lol.88 minutes leftLol
The bad part is my mom knows that station that still plays it to New Years.88 minutes left
. And she has all of it on a CD too so my torture won’t be over considering all of the vehicles we use on a daily basis have CD players.
