Man me too BlueOval!! Our holidays were EXACTLY like that!! Parents and grandparents have all passed. Cousins aunts and uncles all go their own ways. Holidays have gotten so depressing. Makes me miss all those who are no longer with us. I honestly can't stand the holidays. Dread their approach,and so relieved when they're over. All the holidays are to me now is just a day or two off form work.

I guess I mainly view Christmas as a kids holiday. As an adult you just go to work and do the same thing you do any other day. Exchange a few gifts when you find time with friends and partners, and motor on basically.
