Even after using them on impacts and hammering on them still holding up really well.$104

That’s not bad. I’d of gotten one of the $99 Kobalt sets just because I have no experience with Hart brand. Nothing wrong at all with Walmart tools.Well $98 plus $6 tax lol.
If I bought it in the store it would have been $150! But they were sold out

As to Hart.. It's probably just some name, maybe I'll switch out to 6-point sockets if they aren't already but the format of the case is very attractive to me.That’s not bad. The Kobalt set is in the drawer like plastic case. You get a lot of thing with it. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-232...2cYwkgq4tf02ZaRps4kaAtkIEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds215 piece?
See, I like that one because I HATE the "briefcase" style set. I have at least three.
You open them upside down, that's it. And it's SO easy to do.
That one, I can actually select my tool, use it, and put it back... Should have gotten it years ago.
Even my $230 Jonnesway set. I don't think I used it one time. Because it is the format of the case. And it just may stay closed forever. Especially now that I have this one ....... Maybe... (Why use the other one if the first one works? Unless I just use it just because one day.)
When I say "switch out to 6-point sockets," I mean that I will be visiting that Walmart I went to today and selecting a secondary tool box.. and if they are 12-point, I will remove them from the case/enclosure of that 215-piece, put 6 point sockets in their place, and let them bounce around the toolbox of other items that aren't pre-carved in that nice "triple decker" box (the other sets just suck. You WILL open it upside down then you'll never want to use it again.. at least my Jonnesway set I never opened so that hasn't happened) and take out the 12-point.As to Hart.. I really do have a small collection of things I've never opened and had for years. I lose everything else, so... That's why.
12 point is for 12 point heads lol like on my dad’s Freightliner the head bolts, starter bolts and many other bolts take 12 point. Same with aviation. This is going to be SUCH a productive year.
And I think they are already 6-point anyways so.. bonus.
Not sure why they ever made 12-point. Been known since I started wrenching that 6 point is better and is the one you want.
I LOVE the case, but my first impression is that there is entirely too much space given to the Allen/Hex wrenches. The Kobalt set is in the drawer like plastic case. You get a lot of thing with it. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-232...2cYwkgq4tf02ZaRps4kaAtkIEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
All 12-point seems to do on anything on a car is want to round it.12 point is for 12 point heads lol like on my dad’s Freightliner the head bolts, starter bolts and many other bolts take 12 point. Same with aviation.
Same boat, here. I don't hate the holidays, but I miss those times... Staggering away from the desert buffet, awesome food, playing card games and laughing with all the cousins and even hearing the older folks complaining about politics and the state of the world.
I feel like we're all more cynical and jaded these days, even the kids, too. Kind of sad.
It’s because you grew up. The most depressing thought I have when looking at those old photos is knowing that most of those aunts and uncles were as cynical and jaded as a lot of us feel now. It’s an ode to excess while being distracted from what is really important. Pass the iPad please. Those Christmas family get togethers were wonderful. Wish I had had the presence of mind to appreciate them more. Just fifty some year old photos now to remember how good it was to drive home for the holidays. Times long gone by. Things change.
Very useful set. I try to buy from Lowe’s whenever I can because they donated a ton and I mean a ton of these exact sets to our school probably 15-20. They make an identical Craftsman set if you like that brand better lol it’s their better ratchets in that set.I LOVE the case, but my first impression is that there is entirely too much space given to the Allen/Hex wrenches.
