What car or cars would you like to see made again

For myself I would like to see Honda make the 1980s CRX and Prelude again.
Ford the late 60s Mustangs.
Dodge, anything from the 60s and 70s that had the hemi.
GM the late 70s Big 10 pickup.
Word is the Prelude is going to return unfortunately automatic transmission only and probably a hybrid.

Mid-eighties Civic. Fun to drive, economical and very durable and reliable in our ownership experience. Would be a bit of a mouse among the elephants these days, though.
MB 123. Durable and reliable as well as roomy and pretty cheap to run and maintain.
The balance of ride and handling is like no current car and the diesel sounds wonderful at highway speeds.
Slow enough to be a hazard in current traffic, where a Grandpa edition pickup is expected to do 0-60 in seven seconds or less.
The cars we admired and enjoyed way back when might not be so pleasant to drive in the current world of large vehicles all around that are also surprisingly quick.

If they made 2nd gen xterra’s again I would buy 2.
Friends just bought one; essentially a barn find...in shocking blue!
Oh, I don't know about that. I'd get in line for this one.
I was thinking about all the horrid sedans. Dad's '54 DeSoto Firedome comes to mind.
AMC Pacer for the win!
Too bad about AMC falling for GM's ability to supply the Wankel engine which was to go into that car.
I always had a soft spot for the late 80s Celicas...
An '84 replaced my '77. I still retro-salivate.
Might as well go full bore with a Chevette diesel. 51 horsepower 1.8 liter 4 cylinders.
As a second choice, how about a Geo Metro?
Yes, yes...a thousand times yes!
Only the 1.0L 3 cylinder...
Why not?

Re post #41:
One of the colors offered was "Ticonderoga Yellow", after the pencil.
Christopher Chevrolet, in Ticonderoga, NY, had one on a tarmacadam display berm.
It was....eye catching!

NOTE: Fort Ticonderoga, taken by Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys in 1775, is worth the visit.

1995 Toyota MR2 and Nissan 300ZX. I'd have both in my garage.
I had a 93 MR2 turbo I picked up sometime around 2005-06. Loved driving that car and hearing the turbo behind my head. Unfortunately it wasn’t practical the older I got; but, I should have kept it in hindsight. Now I’m curious if I even have any pictures of that car.

Small cheap station wagons. FWD. I don't care as much about the manual transmission anymore, but I would like the cargo capacity, and the ability to put on a tow hitch and move a small 4x8 utility trailer. These have been replaced by CUV's which aren't awful but I just think a smaller and lower slung vehicle will get better mpg, be easier to work on, and meet my needs just as well if not better.
We had a couple Saturn station wagons and they were great little cars

Dodge Viper. Always been my dream car and now used ones are obtainable without dropping massive cash. A new one would be something ! I’d bet it woood be hard to keep the V10 with emissions.

1985 Toyota Celica Supra
1986 Toyota Corolla GTS
1989 Toyota MR2
1989 Subaru XT6
1989 Chevorlet Corvette manual
1995 Honda Civic HB

Wanting to own an 80s car mostly has to do of the decade i was born in. Grew up poor to own any and by the time i was out of school and working these became a distant dream and memory. Maybe someday i could get one as a project weekend car.
