Well, my dad and I went out and did some checks. The actuator works just fine, the supercharger whine is certainly there, just harder to hear behind my bad muffler.
I was able to remove about 8oz, because two 4oz bottles filled it right up to the bottom of the threads.
I took it for a test spin to get the juices flowing and listen for bad sounds. What I didn't expect was the boost. The car feels less held-back, and was more prone to chirping tires. Cool stuff!
I'll have to check my OBDLink app and see how it looks there.
