What are you working on today?

Picked up the two Toro Workman's I won at auction yesterday. Today pushed the inop unit (Lil Belch) into the backyard, it clicks when you turn the key. Could be any number of issues and will look at it later. Changed the oil on the working unit (Lil Chooch) and greased up fittings. All the other fluids look okay. Its heading to the ranch tomorrow morning to live a hard life hauling cactus to the burn pile. The latch on the older trailer-winch-wiring-tool-box exploded, picked up an Apache box and swapped everything over. The winch (Badlands 3500lb) worked awesome, will be using it quite a bit more soon.

What oil filter you install on your two carts? Looks like PENTIUS one Glenda W posted. Thank You sir

Oil change, 2018 F150 2.7. No drama. Cut the filter media to get a good look. In the bright light there are a number of the tiniest little sparkles. I doubt I could get a good photograph because it takes a lot of light and you only see them as they shimmer. Never looked this closely before at this vehicle, so I have no frame of reference. Never saw any in the Volvo I cared to examine. Feeling irritated but I’m sure it’s fine.

Changed the oil on my son's Jeep Renegade. Noticed some weeping from the drain plug; reason was an old deteriorated rubber washer. Went to O'Reilly to get a new drain plug washer and more shop towels, only to get home and realize there was a hole in the drain plug washer package and no washer to be found. Went back to O'Reilly for a replacement and of course they had no more in stock. Did a return and got a new drain plug with washer. It's always something.

Yup, Pentius PLXL7317, good eye sir.

Today transported Lil Chooch to the ranch, built some wood walls and tripled its capacity. Its rated for 3000lbs. I'm sure it can haul 1000 durians to market, but 3000lbs? The rear axle is very beefy. We will see.

Last week a neighbor asked me if I could somehow fix the door hinges on his very old tractor. They would cost him $500 plus are hard to change.
After looking at it, and taking some measurements, I told him to buy brass bushings in the size i wrote down.
I drilled the hinges, and pressed in the bushings.
Then i took two over sized bolts, and turned them on the lathe till they fit nicely, then cut new threads on them, and double nutted them.
