What are you working on today?

2007 F150, 4.2 V6, 172K Miles
I had my buddy with the mobile vehicle repair shop change my spark plugs and wires this morning.
I went over to his house because afterwards, I wanted to shoot one of my AR's and a few pistols.
The new plug gap (Motorcraft-AGSF-34FM) is .054" from the factory. The old plugs were .064".
It sure runs A LOT better!

Looking at live data off my eBay scan tool
Works quite well

I just put new wipers on a '17 Tesla Model S and am trying really hard not to rant about why do we need 10 different styles of wiper attachments?

What's wrong with the hook arm that works well and is easy?? Why do we now need bags of chintzy plastic adapters that feel like they'll break from the gravitational pull of the earth??

Too late....I'm ranting :(

Front brake pads and rotors on my 2008 Ford Escape. These are really a stupid design with the clip and the Allen key slide pins. Have to get everything lined up just right and it’s very agonizing lol. It’s needed rotors for awhile as they were warped I just wanted to let the pads get low first. They had 3mm left. Generally I let them get really low before replacing. It will be nice to not feel them when I stop now lol.

New coolant tank and hoses w/new G48 blue stuff in the 2008 E320.
15 year mark on the OM642 V6 diesel coming up this Summer.
MB coolant tank with the additive replenisher pellet in it.
Mercedes says I'm good for another 15 years!

I have to trick a beagle into letting me clip her toenails. I'm not looking forward to this because she's so darn cute and whoever had her before us didn't take the best care of her so she has some emotional issues. On top of that she's got to have a 🤫 (🛁🚿). I'm not even going to spell the word or say the word or even look at her while I'm headed into the shower. She gets this feeling kind of like Spider-Man and his senses and she automatically becomes a 400 lb dog. Goes completely limp and you can't move her. I think in her past life she might have been trained by Yoda because the force is very strong in this little girl.

It's from Steeda....I have H&R front/rear on my Sportwagen and much prefer the no-fuss teflon-coated bushings H&R uses...his are noisy/need re-grease at least once a year with that sticky Superlube stuff.
You know you can use that Lucas lithium grease they make. That was one of the few products I liked from them and I used it on my Civic sway bar bushings.

Good to know...thanks! I always buy those little mini-tubes of the Superlub on Amazon and use 1 per side, it's about the stickiest thing I have ever worked with...have to use Brake Kleen to get it off my hands! Oh sweet silence now....

I just used lava soap and it gets it off. But once it gets on your fingers it's like it's unexplainable like elephant snot. You're almost better letting it dry and then trying to take it off with a pocket knife 🗡️.

Do they have you taken over the counter NSAIDs? That does help and of course lots of water. I don't envy you. Hopefully this shall pass and I'm not talking about literally more emotionally and spiritually.
I am under the care of a physician, and taking multiple prescriptions. The only unknown at this point is "how long"...
