Lately, I've gotten addicted to a show from the 1950's on youtube (all 100+ episodes) called Highway Patrol.
It's in black and white square screen size, and is about the California Highway Patrol's efforts to catch the criminals of the 1950's.
It's quite interesting to see the 1950's cars, roads, and buildings. Those 1950's car starters make a distinctive noise, and seem to startup faster than today's engines. The police vehicles are 1955 Buicks (that are 5,000 pounds).
Seems like the bad guys shoot and kill some innocent victim in every episode, but by the end of the episode, they're always caught.
Likeable personalities. Perhaps the sad thing is anyone in that show is 68 years older today than they were in that show.
I'm one of those people who have cut the cord. Can't see any value to today's TV shows. Just some aimless sitcoms with no story.
Just some spontaneous jokes that the fake audience applauds to.
Instead, I'm exploring and immersing myself in all these older TV shows from the 1980's, 1970's, 1960's, 1950's instead.
