Depends. Ope is a wide category sort of like asking what do you use in your truck and meaning everything from class 8 to a Maverick
Jaso fd rated in the 2cycle gear. And mostly delvac 1300 in the tractors and such.. due to price/sales.
Kia filter on the Deere 850

i have 4 generators.
in my Honda powered Winco 6000 i use Rotella or Mobil 15W-40 CK-4 oil
my two Honda EU2000's have HPL 5W-30 NO VII, previously had Rotella 10W-30
my 12000 chonda gets 15W40 as well
Cujet recommends Mobil1 15W-50 , i will be using this in my WINCO and CHONDA12000 next, after i use up the 15W-40 i have on hand

Usually whatever 30-40 wt oil I can find on sale. Currently running DELVAC 1300 15W-40. As to oil filters, usually whatever cheap PH3614 size type oil filter I can find. For my riding mower, I have to use a shorty and use a Lube-finer PH3656 from Amazon.

Pretty much all my 4 stroke OPE that might get started in the winter gets what's left of my car oils, 0W30, 5W30 syn, the mower and tiller preferably get RT4 15W40 but sometimes get topped up with whatever is handy on the shelf. ATV, dirtbikes with wet clutches, tractor gets 15W40 RT4.
I try not to do enough hours on any of the small engines for it to matter too much IMO. Tractor should out live me so it gets the good stuff every time.

John Deere 10w30 and John Deere oil filter on Z535M mower. No clue who makes either.

delo synthetic 5w-40 currently after the AAP blow out. whole home generators that i service get M1 0w-40.
On my 2 Kawasaki powered zero turns I use a Kawasaki filter because the engines are still in warranty and for oil I use 15W-40 Full Synthetic Supertech.

Fram 15W-40 Conventional Heavy duty diesel oil (goes in all 4 stroke OPE & generator ) with Fram and Motorcraft oil filters.
15w-40 delvac for me. Before I had a ton of that I used whatever I had leftover and never had any issues.
I use a mix. My current fill on my LT150 is F&F 5w40 HDEO, my Wen has Super Tech 15w40 FS HDEO. I am moving to Mystik JT8 10w30 HDEO with the next series of changes.

What filters do you run on your OPE?
I have a Kohler Command 16hp that gets a Fram TG3614. All my other equipment is splash lubed, so no filter.
Summer OPE gets Rotella T5 15w-40. Once I’m out of that, will be switching to Supertech FS 15w-40.
Winter OPE gets Rotella T6 5w-40.
Summer OPE gets Rotella T5 15w-40. Once I’m out of that, will be switching to Supertech FS 15w-40.
Winter OPE gets Rotella T6 5w-40.
I have a Motorcraft on the LT150 now. I've used Purolator before and probably Super Tech going forward. MC are good, but at $8+ I can get 2 ST filters... I don't think the MC are twice as good as the ST.
