I love beets. Those have a goodly amount of carbs, too, though.

Took the family to Fogo de Chão. Just wanted to order off the bar menu, although I wasn’t sure how that worked with an underage teen. Found we could order that from their “patio” seating, although it was technically indoors and just the edge of the room. Three Picanha burgers (with regular fries instead of polenta), Brazilian empanadas, and cheese. Didn’t know they would throw in this cheese bread (looked it up - made with tapioca), and then complimentary sides for the table, including fried polenta, carsmelized bananas, and mashed potatoes. Total bill was $42 before tax. Left feeling way too full and brought a lot of food home. Even the cheese bread that they kept on giving us. I think the burger is 10 oz.

About to feast on some pulled pork. I decided to cook another pork butt overnight on my Pit Boss because it's so easy. Waiting on the in-laws to get here so we can dig in.
Some leftover pork Chili Verde stew and Mexi-fied coleslaw with blackened corn and Tajin seasoning.
Where's the meat
Smoked salmon. Delicious
When done right it's hard to beat just $$$$ usually
Flavorful this batch a tad salty but good
