What are you eating right now?

We bought the Pioneer Woman version of an Instant Pot and I used it yesterday to fix some black beans from the first recipe that popped up when I Googled "Instant pot black beans." I set it for 20 minutes longer than the recipe said and they were the best black beans I ever had!

Today I'm going to brown some ground turkey and fix some cilantro lime rice and use them to make burritos.
 
Had a 7 oz sirloin yesterday that was in the fridge for about a week. The old proverb that a beef steak has the best flavor and the most tender right before it goes bad. The proverbs were right. Best tasting and the most tender steak I have had in years. Or was it the Farm Dust from the Amish store in Jamesport

I just ate two slices of thin Dave's Sawdust Bread with a half avocado for the sake of "science." I'm gonna check my glucose in an hour to see how it goes.
Oh, well... after an hour my glucose was 150 so whole grain bread is still off the menu. I'll try it again after I lose another 20lbs.
