We have other local brands here, some good, some not so good. She gave me some good thinking points. Sometimes I will eat a EVOO/Butter blend. Not sure if I can trust the companies. Probably can't!

Rancidity in salted butter can be pretty subtle, even unsalted. I don't use this word lightly as vava chided me for, but yes I am a super taster.

Spreadable butter is a no no i guess with seed oils . Great Value used to be ok....tastes funky now...

My dad used to make butter from the raw milk they would buy from this lady down the road who has Jersey cows. Now that was good stuff. Mom said the butter in the spring would be almost orange from all the beta carotene in the new spring grass.
