Need to scavenge a breakfast with the bears in Kodiak

Potato Vegetable Soup for lunch. I cooked up a couple of Yukon Gold potatoes (skin on) in a homemade veggie stock enhanced with a Reggiano rind, a small minced garlic glove, and and a seeded and crumbled Chile de Arbol. Broke up the spuds to make a nice thick soup and added diced zucchini, yellow squash, some leek, and some frozen, assorted veggies, including broccoli florets, carrot, green beans, and corn.
Fish dinner at the American Legion. And a Yeungling flight
Neighbor came to visit. Had not seen her for a few days and was beginning to wonder. Guess her Sister spent the
night at her house last night with all the storms around here. Said they spent the night praying.
Brought spaghetti and garlic toast. I had some salad mix, so it was a feast. Probably have a little ice cream later.
I'm addicted to that stuff. My daily dairy requirements are fulfilled.

I'm showing my age I remember 10 cent wingsTonight was wing night with my buds, so I had 10 mild and breaded wings, 95 cents each. So yummy
Good Friday pizza from my favorite local place. Baked clam slice and split a crab meat slice with the wonderful wife. 6 hours of yard work today at 61 we passed on happy hour a little banged up.

I remember 5 cent wing nights up here, it was Tuesday nights at a franchise restaurant called O’Tooles that was everywhere in Ontario in the 80s and early 90s and then just disappeared quickly
Remember buying them 19 cents per LB. Garbage part of the chicken and they almost gave them away.
Some Genius turned them into gold it seems. Wish I had been that smart.

Yesterday had a cheat day, ate up junk carbs/sugars. Not happy calling it a cheat day, cause it lets me off the hook, gives me a pass.

It depends how you view cheating. If you look at it from the angle of cheating being a despicable act, you don’t have to let yourself off the hook.
However, the occasional re-carb isn’t necessarily bad. When I was ketovore I found I did best by eating carbs approximately once per month, I tried not to go too crazy with the junk food but definitely didn’t avoid it.
