Smashburger last week was $42- 2 single burgers, 1 fry, 1 tot, 2 small drinksAte at Five Guys
TWO $20 bills for two burgers and one fry. Water to drink
I'd been promising the kid I'd take her for about 6 months. It hurt my heart to swipe my card for 42 bucks, but it gave her gas, which was hilarious, so it was sorta worth it.
I've been working on a 4lb meatloaf since Saturday. Made a big batch of broccoli cheese mushroom and rice casserole and baked 2 sweet potatoes about the size of Florida. Still got so much I'm going to have to freeze enough for a couple of Mr. Boring sized meals. I have been putting in roughly 30 hours/week at my part time job so I went YUGE on my 1 cooking session for the week. Not tired of it yet, but getting close.
The week before was a big pot of ziti bolognese. I got though about 2/3 of that. I was very tired of it by the 3rd day lol.
Not sure what I'll cook this weekend, but it will again be a YUGE batch. I might do 3lbs of pot roast with carrots and green beans, I have several 3+ lb chuck roasts in the freezer. I need a carb break.
No, I don't like traditional Easter type foods, so no ham or any of that stuff. I might put a pork loin in ham cure for 2 weeks from now. I'll eat ham I cure and smoke, but not commercial stuff.
