What are you eating right now?

Funny story that hits home to the mountain oyster post above, you all might get a kick out of.......

Swung past a couple friend's farm one Saturday. They were just finishing cutting around 75-100 sheep I would guess.
The old man was cutting and the boys held the sheep. Somebody wanted the oysters and they threw them in a bucket of water.

Sheep were done. Old man says bring that dog over, he is always running off. He cut the dog and threw them in the dirt, then
walked off. Boys got a gleam in the eyes and a smile. Washed off the dog oysters and threw them in the bucket, with those from
the sheep :)

Last I heard the dog stayed home and quit his running too.🤣

No pictures yet.... beef round roast came out of the oven and resting. Just a simple cook at 200 to 300F incrementally. It's probe tender and smells good.

Then overnight brined chicken thighs on the Traeger. 360F and should be done in half an hour.....

Then some sort of one dish oven baked "fried rice." Haven't made it in maybe two years.

Also making mashed potatoes, gravy and some veggies.

This is some sort of random mess of things to come together. Need some leftovers to pack up when I hit the road Friday foe work.

Another thing, for the first time I was able to compare my scale with the scale at my girlfriend’s house, as I had them both together in the same place. My scale reads 2 pounds more than hers. So it’s nice to know that I might possibly be 2 pounds less than I thought all along! The interesting thing is that both of our scales are made by Weight Watchers so you would think that they would be closer in their readings.

At the end of the day it’s more about how much weight I have lost other than an exact number though.
Maybe one is in pounds or kilograms? Stones? Although one kilogram is equivalent to 2.2 lb so I'm sure the deviation on the scale would be much more significant than a mere 2 lb.🤣👍

What I have learned is any discussion that goes about weight and the opposite gender doesn't end well for anyone lol

Cheated today and had the nurse pickup food from the deli.

Chicken tenders, corn casserole, mac & cheese and a dinner roll.
Made a chocolate chip malt to top it off.

My Son turned 45 today. Taking him and the family to celebrate tomorrow night.
Sure makes me feel old. :(

They have probably been around longer than me lol. I first seen commercials for them when I was a kid and that’s how I found out about them.
I don’t think we have them in Australia, down here a pizza roll comes from the bakery and is a bread roll with pizza topping baked on to it. They’re often eaten at room temperature but some people microwave them briefly to warm them.
