I could not sleep last night. Got up before daylight and cooked up a big batch of potato salad.
It sat in the fridge for over 8 hours to meld the flavors. It turned out quite tasty!
Sugar pie from next door called about 4:30. Asked if I wanted some fresh out of the oven meatloaf.
Told her to bring some over and that I had buns. So we had meatloaf sandwiches and potato salad.
I had a gallon of butter brickle ice cream, so we had some of that for desert. Comfort food day.

Watching some Southern Louisiana videos, it appears in Cajun country it is mandatory potato salad be consumed exclusively inside a bowl of gumbo.

I had Asiago Chicken pasta for dinner 
Instant decaf coffee out in the shop where things are quiet and more private.
Chick full of nuts coffee and some plain oatmeal with milk and honey

That sounds goodHad a sub sandwich from the local deli. Added mayo and sliced onions for GON.
Some leftover potato salad and a few chocolate cookies. Nothing special.
Getting low on lamb. 2nd to last pack of chops. Cumin, salt and pepper dry rub

The opulence is alarming....
I would like to try properly prepared lamb. But I have been gun-shy after my one and only time.
Dad had a sheep butchered and gave us some. (could have been an old ram for all I know)
Decided to fry some sheep burger one night. Stunk up the whole house with wet wool smell!
Threw it all out to the dog.
Had sheep myself for weed control, so I knew the smell of handling them well.
