What are you eating right now?

Bill Millers BBQ in Boerne, TX. 12.00 all on. And no tipping. Absolutely fantastic meal, the sides rocked, the brisket spot on. I had wanted a beer- no beer here, but this great meal made up for it.

I love Texas 'cue. A typical comment at this time might be "I'm drooling all over the keyboard," but I'm not. It's running down my shirt and puddling in my lap.

Did this place have burnt ends?

Shel, good morning. I don't think this place has burned ends. They are an area "chain". Still amazed how fantastic the sides were. I am pretty picky on sides. And each side was outstanding. As was the brisket (I am not a huge brisket fan either- will enjoy brisket, but not my go to for BBQ). Just wow on this place. All for $12 all in, and a clean dining room also.

In the summer of 1972, my then sweetheart bought two dozen eggs and from those two cartons of eggs, we got nine double-yolkers. Susan had two kids, 10yo and 11yo, and they were excited to come to breakfast to see if there'd be a special egg on their plates. I'd heard of double-yolk eggs but had never encountered them before.

My youngest ans I made homemade pizza last night. Ruined a double batch of the dough in the bread maker. It cavitated while mixing and I was too busy to check so we tossed on a single batch after.

I preheated the pizza stones in the oven before transferring them to the Traeger, which was primed at 400F. I need to get a pizza flipper thing as I folded one crust over when transferring it.

Got to say, best pizza ever! It just keeps getting better with that Traeger. Crust came out just mint!

Sounds like a nice, safe, clean place to enjoy a meal. Some of the best BBQ brisket I've had has been in Texas. Next week, we'll see how the "local Texans" prepare their 'cue.
