You’ve thrown in the towelHealthy food tonight.
Ham salad spread on buns. Honey mustard Doritos. Ice cream.
Ate well yesterday. Went to see Dad, who is in hospice care at the nursing home in Audubon, IA.
Best friend's Daughter drove us there.
Went to the bar in Exira afterwards. Brother said one of my best friends from school hangs out there.
Walked in and I knew all faces at the bar. Had not seen most of them in over 20 years. Bought a round for
the bar. I did not drink anything but ice tea.
My best friend just turned 40, and is pretty cute, with a good figure. Also very friendly, so she won them over
quickly. All the guys were sending beers and shots her way. We were there about an hour and she got trashed.
It was a good time for all.
Poured her into the car and she wanted food. Stopped here and ate dinner. They have the 2003 best breaded tenderloin
in Iowa trophy. Great people and food there.

We drove back roads home, knowing she would need pee breaks after all the booze. Said to stop at the next gas station
to use the bathroom. Honey, next gas station is 45 minutes away. (grew up in city girl) Refused to stop in a cemetery and go behind
a tree. Refused tall weeds and every where I mentioned and said she could hold it.
Finally got to a gas station and she went running inside. Came out and had a wet spot in her jeans. Leaked a bit in anticipation.
Daughter found her a plastic trash bag to sit on in the car. I laughed and teased her.
Daughter was tired of her drunken Mom by the time we got to my place. Said I will be back to get her tomorrow.
Being the gentleman I am, found her some dry sweatpants and got her freshened up. She was kind of sluggish upon
wakening this AM.

Made Chicken Parmesan with Costco Kirkland Chicken Nuggets. Use Rao's Marinara sauce with added Italian Sausage. Topped with a dab of Mozzarella. Was real good but needed a touch more sauce.
The package said wedge salad. I’ve had true wedge salad at top of the 9th near me. It’s way better

Snack
Black coffee and the same pier as yesterday from a different angle, but I only did a 14 hour fast and broke it with a free granola slice.
Just had a pulled pork Reuben from Moët’s Tavern near work. Along with baked small sweet potato. Ice water. For $17~ it’s dam well worth it.
