Mobil's Lube Line has always been amazing.
It was their guys that when I thought SHC ID was the right oil for my diff, rang me back a half hour later and told me it would likely be a perfect fit. Their guys, when they realised that my 4Runner was well and truly out of warranty, agreed that M1, annual OCIs and filters, whether 5,000km or 25,000km were right.
Told me some of my schemes and mixes were iffy.
I rang the lubeline the other day, and the message said that it was gone, and I would be referred to my regional agent...
Turns out the agents have only the "book", and no lube "knowledge", so instead of discussing applications, want vehicle details so that they can "recommend" what the book says.
Castrol 85W-140 for the diff in this case.
What a great resource dumped
