AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO, Ea15K) And can you only get one of them for the 2002 Impala 3.4 V6 ???

• Ea Filters designated with product code Ea15K are recommended for 15,000 miles/one year, whichever comes first, in normal or severe service.

• Ea Filters designated with product code EaO are recommended for 25,000 miles/one year, whichever comes first, in normal service or 15,000 miles/one year, whichever comes first, in severe service.

Pablo do you know of a filter that is rated for 25.000mls that would work on a 2002 Impala 3.4 V6 ????

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't read EVERY thread. You can always PM me or email me to get my attention.

Anyway, we can select one of the 25K EaO's, even a larger one, but I don't think this is the wisest choice. One reason being that Amsoil will not warranty it. The other reason - Amsoil went to the shorter OCI's with some engines because the capacity will max out in some cases, with some fuels and other conditions.

That said, you are free to look at this older list and make your own choice:

^I was wondering why I was shipped an EaO20 with my most recent order, not to thread jack. Curious. I asked to purchase a Ea15K20. I figure they are backwards compatible and all, but?

That's really odd. Have you contacted your dealer/Amsoil?

No, I didn't really mind or think to at the time. Should I be concerned?
