Well in the 03 suburban i changed the filter and line flushed with valvoline dexron 6 Full Syn( the stuff I got for 1$/ quart). It still drives/shifts great. No noticable difference. Maybe a slightly faster shift sometimes.. Glad I got the full syn in there, last time I will probably ever have to do it.

Not sure what's in that Dexron-IV (and I'm a little afraid to find out) but it sure seems to work well in my automatic GM gearboxes.

When I went from factory fill dex 3 to dex 6 in my escalade, it shifted like normal. Couldn't tell the difference. Same with my s10 except I filled with valvoline syn atf

Indeed. A dose of dyslexia conspired to do its jumbling around once again despite a cursory proofreading.
