Karen Carpenter had an amazing and very beautiful voice. Apparently she didn't like some of the songs she and Richard were given, but always did a great job on them.

It's a bit of a debate here, with me a big Karen Carpenter fan, and my wife claiming Judith Durham (of The Seekers) was better.

As for Karen Carpenter, my Mom loved to listen to her/ them. It's a shame Karen struggled with her eating disorder. RIP.
