My sons BMW and his house was damaged by hail about 6 years ago, not that size hail though. I cant remember how many dings in the hood and roof but know it was at least 25. Amazingly paint free dent removal place got them all out, no one would notice anything once they were done, except him if he knew to look and where to look. What's the process to fix all of those dents?
We had a bad hail storm in around 2012 in Calgary where my 2008 Suburban was pelted and ended up with at least 50 dents. A professional paintless hail repair company set up shop in a rental wharehouse. These guys travel to cities that get hail storms. I was able to walk around and watch the technicians work. Hoods are easy. They pop each hail dent individually with what looked like a rod with a bend in it. For the main body of the Burb, they had to remove the ceiling covering and pop the dents out. When I got the Burb back I swear I could not see any individual dents and the ceiling covering was perfect. Most folks in Calgary have hail insurance. I had to pay the deductible. What's the process to fix all of those dents?
Good luck with that!No idea on my Subaru damage yet. Granddaughter borrowed it yesterday. Don't know if it was in the garage or outside.
Maybe I should start a Gofundme account! LOL
Sucker all of you out of some $![]()
Nobody makes a protective mat you could lay over the car before a storm to prevent this damage? Like an inch thick foam material.
good idea, need a good tie down to keep it in place and some side protection for windows, that should come in the 2.0 version !
It's really not a bad idea at all. I may be tempted to make one, granted keeping it in place might be a challenge. Cheap car cover maybegood idea, need a good tie down to keep it in place and some side protection for windows, that should come in the 2.0 version !
