Was waxing the car so decided to use the leftover on the pad for the push mower.

People on here would die. LOL. I was running full synthetic 5w30 or 5w20 and lately if it needs any oil I've only been dumping in used full synthetic. I got it in 99 and it was 1 or 2 years old then.

As far as the stickers.... I just put those on the other week. Couple years back I had loaned it to my brother in law who mowed under low bushes which tore off all the craftsman stickers.

I don't think that front right tire would pass inspection. You might want to check the alignment.

She looks almost new! Cherish that Tecumseh. It's the last of the Mohicans.

Me too!

Cool I don't think I have ever waxed mine but, do wash the deck regulary to keep the grass from clogging up the botton deck and keeping a good cut from happening. Nice it looks [censored] good.

Just so there is no hard feelings I'm pretty much just bustin on the OP.. It is after all just a C-r-a-p-s-man with a TECH motor.. To be honest I wouldn't exert the energy needed to do anything but blow it off when done cutting.. Having worked on far to many of these mowers my opinion of them is pretty skewed/twisted..

No kidding!

I had to buck a tree that fell down and I ended up with SAWDUST and wood-chips all over the darn saw.

Well, I'll tell you, that will not do! I stopped what I was doing, went to the garage and got out my Echo leaf blower and made my wife blow the chips off the saw as I cut the wood.

It was still a little dusty so I got out a toothbrush, a handful of Q-Tips, some clean rags and a bottle of Mother's wax and spent the rest of day cleaning it up.

It's OK now but every once and a while a fly lands on it but I get the wife to shoo them right off....

For some reason, I just can't seem to keep up with cleaning up the dead-fall. I've got a few more to do and hope to get them done before year-end.......

HAHA!!!
It's good to see I'm not the onliest one with a TWISTED mind..

Geez, give the OP a break. He's going to have to see a psychologist after you guys are done beating him down.

Anyway.......I know that I feel much more comfortable mowing on a well maintained mower after a wax job:

A clean mower is helpful too. PS....moderators, please no vacation, it's cute, without being distasteful.
