Reverse Self Propelled Mower

Hi All, Recently picked up a back up mower. Troy Bilt for a good price. It cuts
well but it is self propelled, I would like to disable the self portion and use it as
a normal push mower. Is this possible? Thanks

It is. Front wheel drive ones are easiest as you can often remove the front wheels, take the gear cogs out and reinstall the wheels.

FYI: They're still heavier to push.

Or remove the drive belt. Whatever's easiest.
