Washing machine lubricant??

No clue where to post this, good as any I figure. Anyways I have a Kenmore washing machine I have no clue on the model but it's a mid 80's series. Since owning it i've have to move many times and a few times while moving i've had to lay it on it's side, I know a big no no. Some of the hydraulic/gear fluid came out of the gearbox. Any tips on what I should put in it? I have some redline 75-140 left over, what do you think? Thanks in advance. Eric

Should be fine with that. It's less demanding torque wise (and speed wise?) than a car!

I asked that same question about a year ago. Iwas told to just use a cheap synthetic gear lube like costal. So you should be fine with Redline!PM Molakule and make sure the esters are not going to react with the seals!
