Washer fluid

I use the 303 Brand washer fluid tablets mixed with... tap water. The tablets clean good enough, I like the convenience of carrying a pack of them in the glovebox. I do not worry about freezing too much here.

Same here. But I use softened water from the house. Those little blue pills work great. In the winter I purchase the blue stuff and drop a pill in it.

My 15 year old truck ran through 2 to 3 gallons of washer fluid a year since I bought it 8 years ago and was still shooting just fine when I sold it a few months ago.

I might go for the real pricey stuff this season.

Last year, I left a bottle of the +32 degree stuff in the trunk, solid as a brick..

Does it freeze up in the fluid reservoir, or just stop working? It's possible that the water from winter weather wicks into the nozzle, then freezes, and forms a clog.
