IDK about steaks but there are a few restaurants in my area that are known for serving large cuts of prime rib that the customer can choose for their dinner. I mean, these cuts of prime rib are enormous. But you can also order a more human consumable dinner size piece of meat as well.

I observed "Prime Rib Worship" as a youth. It was the "auto-mesmerizing" power it had over people.

The local supermarket had PR on sale so I looked. >8 lbs. = >$108.00 price minus coupon.
The computer applied the coupon twice...=~$60! Just like an oil sale.
I whacked it into 3 unmatched pieces...sear it all over then blast it in the oven @375*F. Real good.
And I leave some life in it. Those "Green Egg" tandooris run hot-hot....even with a thermometer.
