In my younger day when I was thinner in a pinch I could get under a car with no ramps and change my oil.I wonder how many people change oil in the Walmart parking lot? I have seen what looks like people living in RV in Walmart parking lots. All part of "the people of Walmart.
I typically change my clothes after I am done with an oil change before taking the vehicle on a test drive. I get dirt from driveway on my clothes from lying on my back and sliding under my vehicle. Basically want to keep the vehicle seats clean. Not sure how it would go changing my clothes in Walmart parking lot. But guess I would just be another "the people of Walmart".
IF I had no place to change my fluids I may would have quickly used a Walmart parking lot but no ramps, cardboard to protect the pavement and I would dispose of the oil and filter properly and I would try and be under the car and done in a flash...
In the 80's my touring hotel lounge circuit top 40 band ( Boy, those were the fun days ) band would change the oil in the rental box truck in the Hotel parking lot with no issue...
I kinda practice you do what you gotta do but with respect.
