wal mart st brand

I just went to Walmart today, and most of them had the date on the filter that's less than 2 months old. They are not running short on Super Tech filters in my area. Another Walmart is suppose to open up sometime this summer so we'll see if they will stock the Super Tech filter.

They killed alot of models of Motorcraft, AcDelco, and some Supertechs at my wal-mart. The Orange plague grew larger though.

It has been an ongoing trend here. Not sure the crowd here is as sophisticated as in some places, a Fram and 10W-40.

If it's not a big seller, they will kill the shelf spot for something else. That's how they work. There's a couple ST and a couple FRAM filters at my store that are now mark down/Clearance...likely being replaced by either another item, or another comparable filter; due to likely; low demand for that item; so why stock it.

Basically, if you like an item, buy it, and they'll stock it :)

Let me fix that for you:

"Frams get a bad rap. They WOULD be fine filters if they cost about HALF what they do."
So, because they cost more than some OCD oil peeps like when compared to something else, they aren't a "fine filter." But, if they did in fact cost say half of what they do, they would be the best thing since sliced bread? Love the logic...
