Just saw jugs of each at a Central Fl Wally's.
No pricing tags but the jug of VML 15w40(cj-4) I picked up was $14.98.
I'll post some pics later.

Interesting that a "high mileage" diesel is 125K+, as opposed to 75K+ for a gas engine. I've been wondering if anyone would make a diesel oil with seal swelling agents in it, should be a decent market for it.

Nothing about it on the Valvoline US site. Going to valvolinediesel.com as indicated on the label takes you to the US site. Both products listed in overseas sites though. I'd run the Maxlife without hesitation. VWB is likely all GrpII, maybe a replacement for AllFleet, and now mass marketed in that bottle for public familiarity/appeal. Good find!

Depending on the ZDDP levels I would think it would find favor in the classic car crowd as well.

For the sake of their VR1, I hope not.

It was a smart move on Valvoline's part to introduce a high mileage diesel oil. They will have about nine months to get the product on the store shelves and people aware of it before the new diesel specifications and oils that meet them start entering the market in December.
With the proposed splitting into two groups of oils, people might be confused on what to use in older diesel equipment, and what is backward compatible. As long as it meets the spec, Valvoline just needs to point to the high mileage diesel oil and say that would be the best thing to use.

Back of my jug says SN.

I just picked up four gallons of the Maxlife yesterday for my 7.3. I got it at Walmart and it rang up at $11.67/gallon!

Can't beat that price.
