VW MK7 wagon oil/OCI poll from FB

Looks like LM's "Made in Germany" so it's much better than anything else just cuz marketing is working well ;).
A lot that is the FCP Euro deal but yes, as I've spoken here before to the LM haters, LM markets big time to the Euro tuning community through the Euro shops and vendors....they are not dumb apparently as it works so good for them!

The LM hype bothers me because there is nothing special about the product that makes it deserving of the attention. It is just another average, off-the-shelf licensed oil that happens to be Made in Germany.

I'm with you on LM

I agree. Again, they are smart marketers of their product so gold star for them. I mean my mouse pad I'm using while I type this has LM on it 🤣

They always did that.
They are the ones that sold HC oils as something special.
When 60-90% of base stock is heavy paraffinic, and rest is mineral oil, there is a lot left for marketing.

Most of LM oils are perfectly good oils if not all but not amazing in general, with the exception of their top of the line Synthoil oils that come in purple bottles, those are PAO based and have very nice add packs, not sure if they are sold in the US, But again they are even more expensive.
They have a wide range of additives of all kinds though and the ones that I've tried i sure have liked like their injector cleaners.

They also kind of quietly own a subsidiary company called Meguin here in Europe which are for the most part rebranded LM at a cheaper price.
Like Meguin Super Leichtlauf 5w40 , rebranded Synthoil but 20€ less expensive for a five liter bottle.
