Is this an API SN rated oil? No magnesium but yet a fairly low TBN. Interesting indeed, but a VOA doesn’t give any insight on how it will perform. Good info to have to compare against the UOA, though.

Thanks for the test info! 👍🏻

This is the oil that Audi Sport Customer Racing puts into the RS3 LMS (EA888 Gen 3, 2.0 TFSI) before delivery to customer teams.

It's a mid-SAPS Euro oil. Should be pretty fancy stuff considering it meets Porsche C30, BMW LL-04, MB 229.51, and VW 504/507. HTHS 3.7 for KV100 of 11.9.

That's why I run this oil.

You're welcome!

Can any expert explain how Ravenol VMP, REP, and Red Line 5W-30 get 3.7 HTHS with such low KV100s of 11.9, 12.2, and 11.9 cSt respectively? These oils seem like slight outliers when you look at the market. Even the HPL No VII Euro 5W-30 is at 3.57.

Great questions. I don't know but VMP is used in some high performance Audis.
