Ravenol VMO 5w40, just filled my 2010 VW Passat 2.0 TSI with it.
I will do a UOA somewhere between 3-5K miles.

Yes, it is mid saps 502,505,505.01 and MB 229.31 approved and meets several other specs.
I had a good deal on the Ravenol and it is PAO based full synthetic, could not find any VOA or decent UOA so i decided to do my first oil analysis and become a proud BITOG member.

I forgot to type the info just in case the link will be lost see below:

This ravenol is without PAO, only GrIII. See comparison of Elf 0-30, ravenol VMO 5-40 and LUKOIL 5-40. http://www.oil-club.ru/forum/index.php?a...attach_id=10349
the same as almost all european 5W-40 (as Lukoil 5W-40).

No moly and just 686 ppm of Phos'.

There are no requirements to have good fuel economy properties in ACEA C3. This oil with HTHS 3.5 is mainly for diesel cars with DPF.

Did you buy this from Blauparts, or did you find another supplier?? (I am looking for the Ravenol MTF-2, and NO ONE brings it into this country!
