This is Motul's last stop on the way to 300V. Very high, relatively speaking, ester content, it is more like 300V than it is the 5-40 Xcess product just below it. I've wondered what the differences really are compared to the 300V. Though it probably won't tell us much I'm looking forward to the UOA to see the rudimentary data. Thank you for testing this. Your willingness to test so many oils is much appreciated.
 
Any idea why the Boron got cut in half? Formula change or switch to a different add-pack?

Looks like the Moly additive has been taken out completely.

Castrol doesn't publish HTHS or Noack for their EDGE 0W-40 A3/B4. I would love to compare both these specs to the Motul 0W-40 X-max.
