The top (second line) Visc@40 and Visc@100) is what is reported on the SDS.

The tested Visc@40/Visc@100 is the last two rows of data.

that's well within expected variations. The variation in actual viscosity vs "typical" pds viscosity is why I don't give any attention to 10% lower or higher viscosity in UOA.

105 silicon though? that is unheard of. i'd resample very shortly as it looks like dirt is getting into the crankcase.

Yea I did notice that and asked them to check the results.

This was a virgin sample but after the mech has opened the bottle and serviced the car. So perhaps some crap got in?
 
I had the oil re-tested. The previous sample was from a can that was used by the mechanic. He might have left the lid off for an unknown length of time.

This sample is fresh.
