Blackstone comments:
No metal was present and the additives are pretty standard for a gear lube. The viscosity was correct for 75W/140. This oil contains a little silicon. That normally shows dirt, but here it's an anti-foam additive. No moisture or insolubles showed up. The TAN was 3.1, so the oil starts out with a little acidity due to all of the phosphorus additive present. In any case, this is serviceable oil.
