But if this stuff keeps your injectors properly fogging the fuel, instead of spraying it in a stream, I have absolutely no idea.

Good PEA based cleaners like Redline SI-1 will keep the injectors and the back of the intake valves clean on non-DI engines. There's all kinds of YT videos of people testing out some of these cleaners.
