Virus in my Torque Pro

I just got an ELM327 Dongle from "deep in China". It came with a little 3 inch CD-ROM which innocently sat in my tray when antivirus started its scheduled scan.

Oddly, this came up. ???

My AV found a virus in the ISO i made of that disc, so i got rid of the disc. No need for the disc when you have Torque Pro.

I have torque light. Never saw a reason to install software. What does the software do? Or is this to use a laptop instead of a Android?

I just bought one of those last month. I put the disc in but never ran anything from it. A little too shady. There's really no need for them to send a disc, it's basically a plug and play type deal.

The disc comes with the ELM and it's to interface from a windows device to the bluetooth ELM assuming your windows device has bluetooth.

If you are using the ELM with an andoid device, then you can throw the disc in the trash.

Those are cracked, you should not use them.

When I ordered mine I just threw it away and got one from google play store
