Happy Easter folks. This is one of the filters EastKYMike sent me while back. This was Jim’s main squeeze back in day before he fell in love with ECOGUARD filters.

You have to watch K&N these days.
If you try to return a crappy 1010 etc you have to email them and they won't respond back....I ran into that.
No returns unless you have a return authorization number....cute

I don't like the couple wide pleats and it's too small for something other than a lawn tractor. Other than that, it looks like somewhat like a usable jobber style filter I used to get from Federated Auto Parts/Hastings. But I guess all filters look somewhat like something else, Lol!

They flow better than the folded paper in front of them. I wouldn't run a fiddy in that little thing.

Long as louvers are open I’d say yea.

The select 1002 which is the black can without the nut has very opened louvers and would be no issue flowing anything.

You can get both as they are separate parts... the nut version is HP and white. The black is select both 1002

The nut is suppose to only be for removal, so if the torque damages the can it doesn't matter.

I would use a torque stick on your 1/2 air ratchet just to be sure.

A lot of race tracks don't allow oil filters with the welded nut like seen on the K&Ns.
