Thanks Adam,

Interesting to see the impressions on the ADBV that are evident in used Ultras are present in this new filter, I've noted that the tapping plate is deburred (dang auto correct) on these though so the ADBV is never actually cut.

LOL! About to cut the long Bosch D+ but also tempted to run it for 10k

What say the BITOG Faithful? Run a Bosch D+ 3421 or cut it?

You're welcome for the C&P of course.

Robert, i think I'll do that and put 8 magnets on. 4 on each side 180degrees apart

You gonna cut the small D+ as a consolation prize?

I'll decide after the Penguins at Canucks game tonight

I know Garak is a Canuck fan

Why the love for these filters looks common to me except for the silicone valve. Nothing bad about them but a long way from a ultra.

Prolly cuz 53' Stude just finished running one of these on his Camry for 20k miles and it looked the same as this one but oily?

The TG2 filters I have been running look good.
No issues have been noted.
Anti drain back valve works as evidenced by the lack of startup rattle.
I like the step up in efficiency from the Extra Guard.
They are usually in stock.
Nothing exciting to report.
I like the fact Fram interacts with BITOG members.
Fram stands behind their product.
Different strokes for different folks.

Run the D+ then do a C&P!!!!

53' Stude - thanks for the cut & post!!!!

Obviously they are a great filter

Pleats and all look good. Not thrilled about the bypass design. Endcaps are good if we ever have a metal shortage and some how they seem to hold up lol.
Thanks for sharing
