Just purchased this from AAP. It was $5.29 after taxes. The gasket was very easy to remove and the ADBV is very rigid. Enjoy!

I'm not sure. I thought it was very similar to an ACDelco or SuperTech though.

It may have been like that all along but I wasn’t paying attention.

Very similar to Extra Guard. A little different base plate and nitrile ADBV. Hard pass on any Orange Can. The ToughGuard/Force and the Ultra/Titanium are good to go.

Is it possible that Fram is just slapping their name on a Champ Ecore? Kind of like the “Fram” Amalie motor oil? I literally can’t remember a Fram Extra Guard PH series filter that looks like the Drive. Extra Guards have silicone non-combo ADBVs too.

First Brands Group, LLC just purchased Champion Labs. So, it is possible that what we have an Orange Luberfiner.

Good write up and info. It looks like Champ Labs without combo valve base inlet holes. Pretty nice filter, interesting it has the Fram name even if they do own Champ now.

Any efficiency numbers on the box? They say things about testing a couple kinds. Just noticed they off centered the end cap badly over the nylon cage. Looks like Fram is doing their thing.

I believe @bullwinkle is on to something. I have looked at some photos on the interweb. It looks like the Fram Drive FD10575 is in fact an Orange painted Luberfiner PH500.

No combo valve on this one, you can see the bypass valve on the dome end leaf spring.
