I wonder if the high efficiency is going to push it into bypass frequently due to the efficiency? Do hydraulic systems have similar flow and pressure as a car? I’ve no idea.

Given how short the media stack is which is about 2 and 1 eights of an inch. I wouldnt go above 10k with it. And probably not an ideal filter for a v8 but fine for small v6 engines i guess.

Donaldson catalog did mentioned in the FAQ that running a too highly efficient filter may clog more quickly.

Depends on the holding capacity. If two different filters have the same holding capacity, then obviously the one that's more efficient is going to load up faster then the one with less efficiency if exposed to the same rate of debris loading. There are filters on the market that have both high efficiency and high holding capacity.
