I saw this at a local tire shop this morning:

I asked the service writer about it - he said they use these only to move vehicles basically in and out of the shop. They're limited to about 5 km/hr.

I saw a video where they created a spare by stabbing holes in a bad tire and filling it with expanding spray insulation.
Some Mauldin 1500 pavers came with foam filled tires instead of tracks. Those tires were a PITA to replace. I found a place in Newark, CA that would saw the tires off the wheels, remount new ones and refoam. I still had to take them off the equipment....another PITA.

IF your ride has a "doughnut" consider yourself LUCKY!! many just have "fix a flat kits"!!!

Right?? This bothers me. Was looking at an X3 and realized I’d have to also buy a spare, jack, wrench and different trunk trim to hold it. Soured the idea a bit.
